Adam McDaiD is a cinematographer who has SHOT a number of award-winning feature films, commercials, DOCUMENTARIES and music videos. Upon graduating with an MFA in Cinematography from the American Film Institute, ADAM’s talent was in DEMAND and has afforded him CREATIVE OPPORTUNITIES to shoot projects all around the world.
Currently, Adam is shooting the feature film Race to 23 in Manila. Race to 23 is a gritty character driven drama set in the world of billiards and illegal underground gambling. The film stars John Arcilla (Best Actor: Venice Film Festival 2021) and Loisa Andallio. This film is directed by Phil Giordano, produced by Gale Osorio, and colorED by Jaime O’Bradovich at COMPANY 3.
Recently, Adam shot two television series for Freeform — the critically acclaimed Single Drunk Female, which made The New York Times Best TV Shows of 2023 list, and Everything’s Trash Created by Ator, writer and comedian Phoebe Robinson and Writer, Producer and Showrunner Jonathan Groff (Blackish and this fool Adam’s television credits also include the Netflix Documentary Series Killer Sally, the HBO Series Pause with Sam Jay and the Peacock Documentary Series John Wayne Gacy: Devil in Disguise.
One of Adam’s favorite projects of his career was the feature film Here Alone which was directed by Rod Blackhurst and won the Audience Award for Best Feature at the 2016 Tribeca Film Festival.
When not working as a cinematographer, Adam is usually in search of great pizza, shooting street photography or chilling on his couch in Brooklyn with his wife and two cats.
